Department: Sales
Reporting To: National Clinical Manager

Compensation Profile:
Base: $95,000 – $110,000
Bonus: 10% of base

Section II – Description of Key Job Elements:

Marketing

  • Support national & regional wound care association symposiums to drive customer interest and engagement at the event
  • Enhance the current KOL program by cultivating relationships with industry thought leaders and the development of poster presentations.
  • Develop and coordinate regional KOL speaking engagements.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Wound Vascular RBM’s and TBM’s to provide clinical expertise across the Nation, Regions, and Hospital healthcare systems
  • Provide an In-depth product knowledge of the advanced wound care market including features, benefits, new product trials/launches and promotions
  • Work with Marketing, RBM’s, and TBM’s to provide clinical support of product evaluations and trials
  • Provide clinical support to TBM’s and internal and external customers

Commercial

  • Set and achieve clinical targets to increase overall sales volume of BSN medical wound vascular products
  • Connect directly with WOCN’s, Wound Care Nurses, Vascular Surgeons, Infectious Disease Practitioners and Podiatrists to drive product evaluations
  • Provide specialized clinical expertise and support for large Hospital in-patient and WCC opportunities and product conversions throughout Nation/Regions
  • Create and conduct peer to peer ( WOCN, WCC, DPM, MD) clinical and product presentations to customers in small and large group forums
  • Work with management to analyze trends and develop clinical strategies
  • Work in conjunction with RBM’s and TBM’s to maximize clinical resources for business opportunities

Training

  • Develop and implement specialized clinical customer training and education programs on chronic wound healing, venous leg ulcer, and diabetic foot ulcer treatment programs
  • Develop and conduct education and workshops for total contact cast application
  • Train and provide clinical support for TBM’s on wound care including wound etiology, wound healing, treatment algorithms, and best practices.
  • Educate TBM’s and customers on clinical studies to support product adoption

Administrative

  • Maintain account records and document calls in SFDC as required
  • Provide clinical funnel activity as required
  • Provide reports/activity to the National Clinical Manager as needed
  • Submit all reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time

Section III – Experience/Skills:

  • Four year degree from accredited college or university
  • Registered Nurse required
  • Advanced Wound Care Certification required.
  • Qualified candidates should have at least 5-10 years prior experience within the wound care market.
  • Background in wound care and vascular products is required
  • Hospital experience is required
  • Experience in wound care centers is fundamental
  • Proven effective training, teaching, and presentation skills
  • Proven problem solving abilities and excellent people skills is critical
  • Travel at least 60- 80% of work time required
  • Experience in team work and business skills
  • Proficient in PC application skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Proven organizational and interpersonal skills required as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
